Luxardo Sour Cherry Gin Float

This latest recipe will take you from drinks straight to dessert, here’s my take on the Sour Cherry Gin Float inspired by The Feed Feed.

Can’t decide between happy hour with the girls or a dessert nightcap? I partnered with Luxardo to bring the best of both worlds by recreating this recipe. We’ll be using their Sour Cherry Gin that brings out an infusion of sweet + tarty cherry juice. Oh! Don’t get me started on the maraschino cherries. They’re simple and delicious, a great addition to desserts, preserves, and of course, cocktails. Follow the recipe below and don’t forget to tag me if you try it.

Ingredients:

• 6 scoops vanilla ice cream

• 2 ounces Luxardo Sour Cherry Gin

• 1.5 oz fresh lemon juice

• 1 oz simple syrup

• 1 oz of Sour Cherry Gin

• 2 oz soda water, for topping

• Luxardo Maraschino Cherries for garnishing

• Lemon twist
  

Cocktails

• STEP 1

  Add three scoops of vanilla ice cream to each glass. Place in the freezer to keep cold while you prepare the cocktail portion.

• STEP 2

  In a shaker filled with ice, add Luxardo Sour Cherry Gin, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Shake well and pour mixture equally into both glasses.

• STEP 3

  For the final touches, top each glass with club soda. Garnish with Luxardo Maraschino Cherries and add a lemon twist. Enjoy!
